Ya I got slapped silly at the 2nd portal also. LB gaze doesn't work (even though they're torment critters), so I'm assuming LB title offers no added protection. Curious to see what the mish reward is, as this is pretty difficult with party size of 4, not sure it's worth the effort.

i would like to know if the reward is anything big before dedicating few hours to complete these missions... if it's just a bunch of victory tokens i'll just skip

Just a guess, but I think the reward is just 50 Victory Tokens, since the whole event is just a slightly altered version of last year's.

Eehh, guys, the mission is really not that hard. Just make sure you take the Wraitfull Storms out first. We finished it some time ago with 2 prot monks and an assassin+Zhed. Zhed got 60% DP really soon and we didn't even bother ressing him. The monks just spammed prot spirit and the Assassin killed something every 10 seconds.

Make sure you don't fight more then 5 foes at once and watch out for patrols and pop-ups.

We feared that the mission was bugged, because we had 5/8 with only 2 portals left to close, but after closing another portal, we had closed 7/8.

ungrateful pissants imo

(sorry mods but I hate this kind of whining)
Take your head out......... you do pay them money, divide your payments into monthly if you want to know your cost. Damned if they don't cause a dwindling base means less sales for the next whatever.

(sorry mods, but I hate this kind of crackpot idea that you don't pay to play this game since there aren't monthly fees [which I do love of course])

Don't look like torment critters to me... but instead, re-enactors of last years torment critters with a demon mask on

%#$&^*@ I already did this one and took the reward on normal mode with the only hard mode farmer I've got!!!

Well, that will teach me - READ THE FORUMS BEFORE DOING FESTIVAL QUESTS!!

I love the irony of blacking out his skillbar in a relatively pointless and rewardless area.

I'm shocked ArenaNet hadn't listened to the massive complaints about the rewards for these mini-missions last year.

You wouldn't want to see my build, it's too noobish. And, what's the fun if you just copy someone?
